Dr. Debra Peppers Presents at Regional Emmys

Partnered with St. Louis Cardinal mascot, "Fred Bird"

October 9, 2000 -- 

The National Academy Of Television Arts and Sciences  presented the Mid-America Emmy Awards on Saturday, October 14th at the St. Louis Chase Park Plaza Ballroom. Debra Peppers was nominated to  present  by television producer Jacqui Poor of At&T's "See, Hear" on which Debra is a weekly host. Debra was subsequently confirmed by the Academy to be a guest celebrity presenter in what is touted as "the most glamorous media event of the year", the 2000 Mid-America Emmy Awards. Following a dinner and reception in the ballroom, Debra  presented in both the Religious and the Children's categories. The latter award was co-presented with the illustrious Fred Bird, popular mascot of the Cardinal's baseball team.
